The Crochet Four-Leaf Clover is a simple, quick make. Since this pattern works up so quickly, many clovers can be made in such a short amount of time. These clovers make a great addition in creating a garland, jewelry, keychains, appliqués etc. This pattern can also easily be adjusted to make a three-leaf clover as well.
Supplies:
- Medium 4 weight yarn in color green (I Love This Yarn in color Keylime)
- 5.00mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
Stitches/Abbreviations:
- MC: magic ring(circle)
- Ch: chain
- SS: slipstitch
- DC: double crochet
- TR: triple crochet
Notes:
This pattern is worked in-the-round into a magic ring (circle). An alternative to the magic ring will be to chain 3 and slipstitch into the first chain. From there you will follow the pattern directions working into the center of the ring created by the slipstitch join. Make sure to crochet over the tail end simultaneously while working the stitches into the ring, as this will allow you to pull on the yarn end to easily close the center opening.

Close the circle by pulling on the yarn end. Cut the working yarn. Switch to using a tapestry needle.
Using the tapestry needle, weave the working yarn from the front of the clover to the back by inserting the needle through the first chain of the beginning chain three.

Flip the clover over to its backside. Knot the yarn end and working yarn together. Weave in the ends.
